There's a standard in the print world: Delta E of 2 or less is the usual tolerance for brand-critical colors, according to Pantone's color matching system. Another parking sign issue in September 2022: the sign needed Power over Ethernet Plus, and our switch only provided standard PoE. That error cost $890 for a new switch plus a one-week delay. It was a simple spec sheet mismatch—easy to catch, easy to skip.
If your digital parking signage makes claims about availability or pricing, the FTC's advertising rules apply. Per FTC guidelines, claims have to be truthful and not misleading.
